Your data, plainly explained
No accounts. No tracking pixels. No data sold to advertisers. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
The short version
If you visit Draxiq or Lighthouse, your IP address is briefly recorded for rate limiting and abuse prevention. If you use the AI assistant, your conversation is stored on our server so the assistant remembers context within a session. We use no third-party analytics, no advertising trackers, and no social media pixels. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
What we collect
Essential technical data
- Your IP address — recorded for rate limiting (so one user can't accidentally or deliberately overwhelm the service). Stored in our database for up to 30 days, then automatically deleted.
- Standard server logs — request method, URL, timestamp, status code, user agent. Retained for 14 days for debugging and security purposes.
- Cookies — only used to remember quiz progress (anonymous, 180-day expiry, no tracking) and the AI preview gate (no personal info).
If you use Lighthouse AI
- Your conversation messages — stored on our server so the assistant has context within a session. Not linked to your identity.
- Token usage and cost — recorded for billing and abuse prevention. Aggregated, not personally identifiable.
What we do NOT collect
- No name, email, or phone unless you contact us directly
- No payment information (we use no payment processor on this site at present)
- No browsing history outside Draxiq
- No location data beyond what your IP address reveals
- No data from third-party trackers (we don't use any)
How we use what we collect
- Operating and securing the service
- Preventing abuse, spam, and runaway costs
- Improving the platform based on aggregate, anonymous usage patterns
- Responding to you if you contact us directly
Third-party services
When you use Lighthouse AI, your messages are sent to Anthropic's API (the company behind Claude) to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to that processing. We send only your message — not your IP, name, or other identifying information.
Live market data on the dashboard comes from TradingView's embedded widgets, which may set their own cookies. Their privacy policy applies. You can disable JavaScript to prevent these widgets loading.
Macro data on the dashboard is sourced from FRED (Federal Reserve Economic Data) via a daily server-side fetch — no data flows from your browser to FRED.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Ask what data we hold about you (likely just an IP address and any conversation history if you've used the AI)
- Ask us to delete it
- Object to how it's processed
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact form. We respond within 30 days as required by UK GDPR.
Data retention
- IP addresses in rate limit DB: up to 30 days, automatically purged
- Server logs: 14 days
- AI conversation sessions: deleted when no activity for 7 days
- Cookie data on your device: managed by your browser; quiz progress expires after 180 days
Children
Draxiq and Lighthouse are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided data to us, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
